Astariaon gay coded

In Baldur's Gate 3, Astarion is a gay-coded man whose definitive romantic experiences prior to the game are with men. It could be argued that Astarion's gay experience has been erased for the benefit of straight women. Astarion is the most queer-coded character in the game, with his entire personality based around stereotypes of queer men: an effeminate male character with "pretty" looks, contributed to by his elven nature.
